Journal Report

To get accounting report data from QuickBooks you need to be logged in into QuickBooks. Then you need to select from the menu Add-ons -> G-Accon for QuickBooks -> Get Accounting Reports -> Journal Report.

Select Journal Report option from the drop down menu. G-Accon for QuickBooks provides the ability to set up the Date for your data manually or you can refresh your data dynamically. Date range should not exceed 365 days.

You have the ability to set up the Date Range (To and From) dynamically. The report data will be calculated based on the selected Date Range.

You also have the ability to set up the Date Range (To and From) statically. The report data will be calculated based on the selected Date Range.

Static Date Range

Change Pull Settings allows you to perform the following operations:

  1. Create a new Google Sheet
  2. Display Report Title
  3. Display only account codes
  4. Keep Original Formatting
  5. Only data rows
  6. Only report summaries
  7. Retrieve headers
  8. Create a Data Table around pulled data
  9. Freeze Data Table Header
  10. Exclude Auto Refresh
  11. Remove empty dividing rows

You can also provide the start cell, for instance, A1. And provide the name of the template in Template Name field, for instance, Template #1.

Change Pull Settings

To schedule the auto Refresh, you can use option Schedule a Refresh. The important to remember this settings will take effect only if the master auto refresh process in turned on. See the Automation process explanation.

Schedule a Refresh

To execute the process, click on the “Execute” button. The Journal Report details will be populated on the Google Sheet.
