How to Install Add-on for Xero and QuickBooks

INSTALLING G-ACCON FOR XERO AND QUICKBOOKS IN YOUR GOOGLE SHEETS


To install G-Accon Add-ons from Xero and QuickBooks you need to go to Google Drive and navigate to New -> Google Sheets. In a new Google Sheets press on Add-Ons -> Get add-ons…

In a new popup “Add-ons” window on the upper right side type “xero” or “quickbooks” and hit “Enter”. Then press on “+” next to G-Accon for Xero or QuickBooks.

Google will warn you about the permissions that should be granted to G-Accon for XERO and QuickBooks:

1. “View and manage your spreadsheets in Google Drive”. This permission is needed to write data from XERO into Google Sheets.


2. “Display and run third-party web content in prompts and sidebars inside Google applications”. New user-friendly interface has been designed to help users to navigate through XERO data structure such as invoices, payments, reports and etc.


3. “Connect to an external service”. This permission is required to connect to Xero Public Accounting API to get the required data.
